We love scuba diving in Canada. We also love diving on the Blackbeard in the Bahamas! Our friends at Blackbeard Cruises are offering Canadian scuba divers the chance to get a free one-week trip aboard the Blackbeard.
How can I participate?
There are 2 simple ways to participate.
- 1) Directly, here!
Simply subscribe to our Beuchat in Canada newsletter and select "Blackbeard Promotion".
Folks at Blackbeard Cruises will send you information about the various adventures they offer. Then, at the DEMA Show in November 2010, they will draw one name among all those of you who have registered and remained on the newsletter list. The draw will be done in Las Vegas during the dive industry annual convention and the result will be announced right away on our Beuchat in Canada Facebook group and on Twitter. Of course, we will also contact you directly if you were the lucky one!
It's that simple!
- 2) With Your Local Dive Shop
Every Beuchat dealer in Canada is being offered a free one-week trip on the Blackbeard by our friends at Blackbeard Cruises.
The manager of your local dive shop can do anything he/she wants with this scuba diving trip as long as it promotes the fun of scuba diving! For instance, your local dive shop might choose to award the trip to one of the volunteers at your annual beach clean-up event, or organize a draw throughout the year for scuba divers wearing Beuchat dive gear during your dive outings! If it's fun and safe, it's cool!
Simply ask your local dive shop how you can participate in the Beuchat Blackbeard fun in Canada!

What is this free Blackbeard scuba diving & sailing trip?
It's one standard week with Blackbeard Cruises... Simply check their website!
The free trip is valid between December 1st, 2010 and November 30, 2011. Of course, for the exact dates, it depends on availability. If you wait too long to let Beth know the dates you'd like, she will not kick somebody else off the boat to make room for you! So... Simply contact her and work with her to find a week that suits you.
It is possible for a dive shop to add this spot to an organized group they already have going... The more dive buddies you have, the more fun! Check with your local dive shop.
More Fine Print
Blackbeard Cruises offer a free scuba diving trip to each Beuchat dealer in Canada. For the rules and conditions related to the promotion organized by your local dive shop with that free trip, you have to check with your local dive shop.
The following rules and conditions apply to the free Blackbeard scuba diving trip offered by Beuchat in Canada to divers, like you, registering through this website.
- There's only one way to participate and it's by selecting "Blackbeard Promotion" when subscribing to our Beuchat in Canada newsletter, as explained above.
- You must do so before September 1st, 2010 and be a confirmed subscriber to our mailing list on November 1st, 2010.
- One entry per person.
- The winner of the free trip will be selected by random draw on November 17, 2010, at 13h00 (1pm), in Las Vegas, Nevada, publicly during the annual scuba diving industry convention. Pictures and results will be posted on our Beuchat in Canada Facebook group and on Twitter. The winner will also be notified by eMail. You will be able to claim your prize by phone or eMail, directly from Blackbeard Cruises.
- The trip is normally sold at US$ 899 by Blackbeard Cruises but the price may fluctuate during the seasons. Your free trip has no monetary value and you cannot exchange it for money. You can offer it to a dive buddy, but you cannot re-sell it.
- Your prize does not include "additional charges" like port taxes, park fees, fuel surcharge and the like.
- The departure port is Freeport in the Bahamas. Airfare to and back from Freeport is not included.
- No purchase necessary.
- Employees and staff of Beuchat in Canada and Blackbeard Cruises as well as their family members are not eligible.
- Only Canadian residents are eligible. You will have to supply a proof of Canadian residency before claiming your prize.
In other words... We just want to create some excitement around "scuba diving with Beuchat in Canada". This prize is not a multi-million dollar trip to the Russian space station! It's simply a fun week of scuba diving and sailing with Blackbeard Cruises, offered to you by Beuchat in Canada and our friends at Blackbeard Cruises.
